Coffs Coast tourism identity George Cecato was  announced the winner of the 2011 Countrylink North Coast Tourism Award for Outstanding contribution to Regional Tourism in August 2011.

 The Young Achiever Award went to 25 year old, Ms Sweeby Bryan a marketing and promotions officer with Port Stephens Tourism Ltd.

 More than 300 tourism industry representatives attended the Gala Presentation ceremony at Grafton Showground hosted by special guest, television personality, Andrew Daddo.

 CountryLink’s Deputy General Manager, Nadine Clench said Countrylink was proud to support these important regional tourism awards for the fourth consecutive year and would continue to build on its contribution to the development of tourism throughout the region.

 Forty one (41) north coast tourism businesses celebrated victories as winners (gold), silver and bronze award recipients.
