The Board: Key industry representatives from each Local Government Area within the Mid North Coast have been selected to lead the organisation in 2010. Each of the eight new board members was independently selected on merit. Each is a specialist in their field and brings proven knowledge and experience to their important position.

They oversee implementation of the Mid North Coast NSW new Strategic Business and Marketing Plan.

The 2010 MNCRTO Board members are:

• Vice Chair, Paige Sinclair, Manager, The Pet Porpoise Pool, Coffs Harbour
• Treasurer, Michelle Cox, Owner/Operator Melaleuca Backpackers and Tours, Port Stephens
• Lorraine Gordon, General Manager, Moffat Falls Pty Ltd, Bellingen
• Kevin Wilson, Owner/Operator Yarrahapinni Bed and Breakfast and The President the Macleay Valley Tourism Association
• Donna Carrier, Owner/Operator Bent on Food Wingham for the Manning Valley
• Richard Old, Great Lakes Tourism Manager
• Lisa Harvey, Owner/Operator Nambucca River Tourist Park and President, Nambucca Valley Tourism Association  

The Executive Officer: Ms Belinda Novicky joined the Mid North Coast RTO in May 2007 from Queensland’s Warwick Shire where she was Tourism Manager and Chair of the South East Queensland Country Regional Tourism Organisation.

Ms Novicky is an energetic, talented and well qualified leader for the RTO. She has successful implemented a number of key marketing campaigns including a Food and Wine campaign resulting in a Parliamentary Showcase of Mid North Coast Food and Wine at State Parliament House, Sydney and a Nature’s Playground campaign launched by the Minister for Tourism, Jodi McKay.

The 2010 Strategic Business and Marketing Plan will be implemented with a record $1.5 million budget.

Integral to that plan is a Pacific Coast Tourism Route campaign throughout the RTO and neighbouring regional tourism organisations along the east coast of Australia.Ms Novicky Secretary of the PCTR Committee.

She was also recently appointed to the National Parks and Wildlife North Coast Region Advisory Committee (one of 16 committee appointed for a four year period commencing January 2010 until December 2013), will oversee the newly created North Coast Tourism Awards (a partnership of the MNCRTO and Northern Rivers local Government areas).
