Mid North Coast NSW Tourism is approaching its 10th year of operation as the Regional Tourism Organisation for the Mid North Coast NSW Region.

With the NSW Review of Tourism and the adoption of the Regional Partnership Program Funding in 2009, the RTO has developed and is implementing a revised Strategic Business and Marketing/Development Plan to realise its key objectives and meet the core obligations outlined in the Funding Agreement by end of 2011.

One of the core obligations under the Funding Agreement was to establish a tourism industry lead board into 2010.

The 2010-2012 periods will be one of realisation of new approaches and strategies for the RTO and Mid North Coast industry and stakeholders, and, a time of new direction and leadership for regional tourism in NSW.

Core Obligation and Regional Partnership Program

With acceptance of the $695 000 Demand Building Dollars (to be matched dollar for dollar in the region) in January 2009 and with further funds made available in 2010 and 2011, the Mid North Coast Tourism Inc. implemented a set of Core Obligations toward its Corporate Strategy.
