It has been recommended that the Mid North Coast RTO pursue a more professional stance regarding Corporate Governance and reporting and will act as a Corporation in 2010 and officially become a Corporation in 2011. This will allow time for the organisation, new Board of Directors, Members and other industry stakeholders to adjust to the RTO governance changes.

A paper will be prepared and disseminated to the new Board of Directors in early 2010 explaining the “Differences between Inc. Association and Company”, to allow for the transition of the RTO from an Incorporated Association to an acting Corporation.

2010 will also see the preparation of the registration of Mid North Coast NSW Tourism (RTO) officially becoming a Company (under the Corporations Act 2001) in 2011.
